Our adult karate classes are ideal for complete beginners and experienced students. Training improves fitness, confidence and real self‑defence skills in a friendly, structured environment. You train at your own pace, with clear instruction and a traditional Shotokan syllabus.

Suitable for Complete Beginners
You do not need to be fit or flexible to start. Many of our adult students began with no previous martial arts experience. Training is structured, supportive and tailored to your level.
What to Wear
Comfortable sports clothing is fine for your first few weeks. A karate uniform (gi) can be purchased later if you choose to continue.
